Hi Geli,

I guess the right word is tolerated but tolerance doesn't necessarily mean acceptance. There are already awareness campaigns and discussions by LGBT groups in different sectors but I guess the others fall on "deaf ears" when it comes to this subject matter. Mahirap din mag-spread ng awareness if the government and other sectors in society refuse to listen. Only a few choose to listen and understand. Basic lang ang respeto sa kapwa, no matter what color, race and gender. Equal opportunities in labor, law, etc.

This is sad. I was talking to my friend the other day. Sabi nila the LGBT community "daw" is not discriminated in this day and age. Tanggap na daw ngayon ng lipunan and so on...

Pero naniniwala ako na may mga issues pa rin na dapat bigyan ng tugon. Kahit na mas tanggap na ng lipunan ang LGBT community, hindi pa rin nawawala ang "ibang" pagtingin ng mga tao.

I think that there should me more awareness campaigns and discussions among and about the LGBT community.

Naniniwala ako na GOD himself is love. GOD gave us life and most importantly the freedom to choose how we are going to live our lives. If HE himself gave us unconditional love then power do we have to give conditions to other people before we can love them.

Thinking deep...

Thanks for posting and keeping us informed. Keep up the good work.
