About Us

Pinoy LGBT is all about the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transexual/gender community in the Philippines. We believe that this is refuge and a comfort zone for us amidst the homophobia happening all around. This blog is brought to you by two lesbian bloggers namely Sharlyne Ang and Karla Redor.

About the authors

Sharlyne Ang is a graduate of AB Sociology in UP Diliman. She also blogs at rockerfem.com (personal and music blog), Foodtrippings! (Food Blog) and Pinoy Travelr (travel blog). She currently works as a Recruitment Coordinator for Alexander Mann Solutions/ANZ Bank and a freelance writer/blogger. An alumna of UP Babaylan, an LGBT student organization in UP, and a member of Rainbow Bloggers Philippines.

Karla Redor is a graduate of BS Manufacturing Engineering and Management in De la Salle University – Manila. She also blogs at rockersworld.com (her personal blog), Foodtrippings! (Food Blog), Pinoy Travelr (travel blog) and banda.ph (her photo blog focusing on Philippine bands). She currently works as a freelance website designer/developer.
